Where fixed wireless is the weaker choice
Being straight about this matters more than winning an argument. A wired connection has a dedicated path to your home; fixed wireless shares a radio environment, so performance varies more from hour to hour and from room to room depending on where the gateway sits and how the signal reaches it.
Our own disclosures say as much: during periods of high congestion, customers who have used very large amounts of data in a billing cycle may see reduced speeds until the network is less congested, and consumer data service is provided on a best-effort basis without a specific uptime guarantee.
If your household depends on a hard uptime commitment, a wired line is the safer answer. We are not going to publish a speed comparison against fiber, because we do not have verified figures for other providers' networks to compare against.
